The Coombs Inn, a romantic Bed and Breakfast in an elegant Victorian mansion, welcomes guests to experience historic charm in an intimate setting. The Inn consists of The Mansion and Veranda Suites (1905), and The Villa (1911). The Inns are filled with antiques, oil paintings and oriental carpets from all over the world. We have 13 decorative original fireplaces and 23 bathrooms. Our Inn is located in the heart of Apalachicola's historical district, where the Apalachicola River and Bay converge - part of what is commonly called Florida's Forgotten Coast.We are close to superb fishing and boating, and the excellent beaches of St. George Island and Cape San Blas. Leave the car and walk to all the restaurants, gift shops, museums, and theatre. In order to maintain a quality experience for our guests, we do not permit smoking indoors. We offer free Wi-Fi High Speed Wireless Internet access at The Mansion and the Villa. Requires laptop computer (or similar device) with wireless capability.
